Bicycle Maintenance Club -*Removing Wheels*

Do you ever want to take your children cycling, but worry that if you take any wheels off to fit bikes in the car, you might not put them back on correctly? The next free Tideswell & District Environment Group community bicycle maintenance session can help with this! It will focus on how to remove both front and back wheels, and put them back on again. This is an important skill for resolving punctures, so there will also be the option to practise inner tube replacement. Bicycle Maintenance Club sessions are held at Peak Tri Store from 3-5pm – usually on the first Saturday of the month. Sessions include a demonstration followed by time for hands-on practice of the month’s maintenance topic. Nev also offers 1:1 support with diagnosing issues and help with fixing niggles on the day. And you are free just to come and use the bike stands and tools to make it easier to give your bike some TLC (you don’t have to watch the demonstration or participate in follow-up practice!) If you would like to request a maintenance session topic, email [email protected] or post on the TDEG Facebook Group.
