This event supports the goals of Great Big Green Week by promoting local environmental action and community engagement. By partnering with Keep Wales Tidy, Global Climate Justice Group, North Wales Jamaica Society and local schools, we’re creating sustainable green spaces that enhance biodiversity and educate young people. The inclusion of underrepresented voices, including African and Caribbean perspectives, fosters inclusivity and global awareness. Hosting the event at the City Council with speeches from civic leaders emphasizes the importance of collective responsibility in tackling climate change. This initiative embodies the spirit of the week uniting communities to celebrate and protect our natural environment.
