Monday 9th June begins with a Assembly by our Climate Ambassadors about why protecting our planet is important. Plus we will launch our competition to create a Tree Champion and show why trees are important. The children will be asked to design a character, write a character description and a poem or story to celebrate trees. Throughout the week each class will spend time telling poems, singing songs and reading stories about trees. The winners will be judged by our School Council. The winners will be displayed on Friday 13th June at the Second Hand Uniform Swop Shop. Parents will be invited in to Swop Uniform and look at all the entries for the Tree Champion competition with poems, pictures and stories.
