This is a community event to celebrate locally grown food that has been freshly picked and has almost no food miles! If you have any locally grown food you would like to donate. Please label it and drop it off at the Mix on Mill Street by 11am on Saturday 7th. 11am on Saturday 7th: Locally grown food collection from Mix There will be the opportunity for people to learn new skills in how to prepare meals from scratch by taking part in the Chop and Chat event, when the meal is going to be prepared at the Down to Earth café. 2pm: The Chop and Chat event (preparing the meal) Members of the community will be able to come together later in the afternoon to share the delicious food that has been prepared 5pm: Community meal
