At this event, you will get an opportunity to tour Alive Activities' fully accessible, dementia-friendly allotment, talk to some of their participants, join in some green craft and gardening activities and see what they are doing to help nature thrive. Alive Activities is one of the UK’s leading providers of social and therapeutic horticulture for people with a diagnosis of dementia and their carers. They use gardening, nature connection, and social interaction to improve the lives of older people – a demographic statistically more likely to be excluded from green spaces and outdoor activities.
