On the 8th June, join The Plantation Rangers for a very special Festival of Nature session, all about this year’s theme of water! The Rangers will be be sharing stories and advice all about The Plantation’s own pond, explaining the benefits of ponds for wildlife and practical tips & ideas for anyone interested in creating their own pond at home. Together, we’ll then take a short, gentle walk to a local stream, encouraging the children (and adults!) to follow the stream up the hill and take the time to enjoy the natural fauna and flora. We’ll explore what habitats and creatures rely on important waterways such as streams. They’ll be playful opportunities to splash around a bit too – so pack your wellies!
